About the Performance
'Truth & Illusion' is on stage at the Oakville Performing Arts Center on November 8th, 2024. There is a matinee and evening performance. You are invited to attend the afternoon performance “on the house” to hear first hand these powerful narratives and participate in a thought-provoking 20-minute dialogue with the audience, creative team, and cast after the performance.
Today, within the school communities we have ongoing issues with mental health, diversity, and inclusion. And we know COVID contributed to that. Schools across the province are placing more focus on the promotion of strategies and practices to notice, name, and respond to these issues.
We also hope to bring this breakthrough performance, filled with perseverance, acceptance, and healing into your school communities. Knowing the value that comes with proper planning and programming, our hope is to fill the theater with education’s decision makers who will see the value of sharing these stories with students.
